Field Shoot Examples
Sorry! Long time no update! Been busy with work and having too much fun! hahaha
This week I’ll share with you my field shoot with Marilyn. Her husband Andy has a Nikon, but she doesn’t really know how to use it and would like to learn. Plus, she wanted to see what other lenses would do, as Andy has a 17-85 lens currently. So of course I busted out my 70-200 L lens! haha
We went out to Houston Baptist University, as we could experiment taking pictures of architecture as well as landscapes. I had never been before, but the campus was quite nice.
I’m actually not going to write to much more in this post, as I’ve uploaded most of the example pics onto flickr. Comments have been posted for each pic.
Topics covered:
- Rule of Thirds
- How to focus
- Composition
- Distortion
- Foreground and Background
- Usage of Lines

Marilyn took this shot! Great angle!
